We’re Natasha and Louis Ayres — a couple with a passion for good drinks, great food, and even better company. After years in the Peterborough region, we visited Anglesey in January and were instantly captivated by its charm, beauty, and community spirit. We knew we had to make it home.

A few months (and much dreaming) later, we stumbled upon the old bank building in Menai Bridge — a space with history, character, and so much potential. That’s when Shillings was born.

Shillings is our love letter to everything we adore: craft beer, curated cocktails, small plates made for sharing, and the kind of bar where people come together — whether for a quiet drink, a lively night out, or to catch some live music.

We’re all about celebrating Anglesey. From locally sourced ingredients and drinks to embracing the culture and community around us, we aim to create a space that feels both fresh and familiar.
